The BatucaBronX website (https://www.batucabronx.com) is the official website of the BatucaBronX group.

2. What this site is for
To present the activities of the BatucaBronX group and to offer a members-only area. The public part is served in seven languages; the members’ area is in French.
3. Contact form
We collect your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number if you give one, and your message. They are used only to reply to you.
Every submission is examined by an anti-spam filter and recorded in a log. Your IP address is never kept there in the clear: only a SHA-256 fingerprint is, from which the address cannot be recovered. The content of rejected messages is erased after 30 days, the metadata of the verdict after 90 days, by an automatic daily purge.
The message itself is sent by e-mail to the group’s mailbox, where it is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your request.
4. Member accounts
There is no open sign-up: accounts are created for members of the group, registered with MJC l’Ostal in Puylaurens or with MJC de Labruguière. We process the username, the name, the e-mail address, the password (hashed, never readable, including by us), the instruments chosen and attendance at events.
When someone leaves the group, their account is deleted.
5. Travel expenses — members’ area
To work out the distance of a journey, the member’s town and postcode and those of the event venue are sent to OpenRouteService (Heidelberg, Germany — European Union). Neither names nor precise addresses are transmitted. The distances obtained are cached on the site so as not to ask again. Membership-fee status is also recorded.
6. Forum
The forum is reserved for logged-in members. The forum engine records the IP address of the author of every topic and every reply, for moderation purposes.
7. Cookies

Before you click anything, a single cookie is set: pll_language. It is necessary for the site to work and does not require consent.
No advertising cookie. No audience measurement. No tracker.
8. No outside content
The home page shows the latest photographs the band published on Instagram. They are copied onto our own server: your browser only ever asks batucabronx.com for them, and Meta learns neither your IP address, nor your browser, nor the page you are reading. Nothing is asked of you, and nothing is held back.
No font, no script, no image from an outside service is loaded: everything is served from the site itself.
9. Photographs and video
Photographs and video are taken at events and may be published on the site. If you appear in them and want them taken down, write to contact@batucabronx.com: it will be done.
10. Legal basis for processing
- Performance of membership — member accounts, attendance, expenses.
- Legitimate interest — replying to a message, moderating the forum, defending against spam.
- Legal obligation — at the request of a competent authority.
11. Recipients
OVH (hosting), OpenRouteService (distance calculation, members’ area). No data is sold or handed on.
12. Security
Access is over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. The members’ area, the forum and the shared files are reachable only after logging in. IP addresses from the contact form are stored as a fingerprint only.
13. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Write to contact@batucabronx.com; we reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the country you live in. In France that is the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, https://www.cnil.fr.
